What: Box which plugs into power, and powers and controls two RGB light strips of up to 5 Meters each. Plays music to the beat of the music and has multiple lighting modes selectable by eight buttons and three dials.
Why: For fun! I wanted lights which would be able to light my room, and to be able to program my own modes.
When: 2016-17
How: Programmed the lights and music interface on an Arduino, laser cut the box, created a circuit initially on a breadboard, later designed and printed a PCB for creating a future version (in progress).
My role: This was my project, I received help with PCB design from my coworkers at Kitty Hawk.
