What: A cane to help my grandma around her house. I designed it with two handles to help her stand up and get out of chairs, and personalized it by carving the chinese character for love on one side, and the chinese character for our last name on the other.
When: Winter 2018
Why: My grandmother was having trouble getting around the house, especially getting up from chairs. This was also a project for ME318, Computer Aided Product Creation.
How: I CNCed the center part of the handle, and used aluminum tubing for the handle and base.
